glutino: Gluten free pancake mix review

Taste: 3
Affordability: 5
Ingredients :4

Overall I'd give this product a 3.5.  My biggest issue is how hard it is to keep the pancakes neat.  It was very difficult for me keep them together.   I use olive oil instead of spray because I'm allergic.  The other issue is that it wasn't easy to mix/shake in the bottle.  I ended up mixing it in a bowl.  However, I will buy it again.   These are for my husband and he doesn't mind that they don't look "pretty."   He loved them!

The Truth About Salt: Salt and the Human Body

Salt And The Human Body
By: Cyndi M. DuPree

What is salt?
Salt (Sodium Chloride) is composed of  the elements Sodium and  Chloride.  It is the chemical compound NaCl.

The functions of salt in the body:
Salt is a hard worker and has many essential jobs in the human body.   Some of it's functions are;
-Retains water
-Regulates  the body's PH balance.
-Helps the body use vitamins and nutrients.

Not all salts are alike:

There are many different types of salt.  Salt can be found around the world with subtle differences.
White table salt is the least expensive salt.  In the process of making table salt the beneficial nutrients are lost.  This is the type of salt everyone should avoid.  My favorite salts include: Himalayan salt, Kosher salt, and Sel Gros (large coarse sea salt).

They say Salt is bad for your health.
The miscomception of consuming salt.

If salt is essential to our health.... Why are we constantly told to stay away from salty foods?
The over consumption of salt is responsible for serious medical conditions that lead to organ failure. The daily recomended amount of salt can easily be consumed through fruits and vegtables.  This makes it unessary and dangerous to add more salt.

Salt in Senegal makes bright pink bodies of water.
Being a GMU Alumni I have to mention that George Mason University has semester abroad to Sengal.

Antioxidant: Strawberries rank as the 27th most powerful antioxidant food.

The Regulator:  Recent studies show that strawberries assist in regulating "table" sugar.  (Example: high table sugar intake causes blood sugar spikes.  Eating strawberries will reduce the blood sugar spike).
