Health Benefits of Ginger

By Cyndi Morel DuPree

It's no secret that I love ginger.
I love ginger tea, sautated ginger, and dishes with ginger. It's delicious and very inexpensive. Ginger has been and continues to be used as natural treatments for many ailments! Most notably ginger is used for nausea in pregnant women and to prevent motion sickness. Ginger's healing properties benefits the following:
-Ovarian cancer
-Colorectal cancer
-Gasterointestinal issues
-Nausea
-Inflamation
-Immune system
-Candida
-Lupus & other autoimmune illnesses
How I use Ginger....
The combination of ginger, agave and lemon is one of my favorites for tea and sauses. When you add garlic to that mixture my house smells delicious and everyone starts to salvate! I love ginger in muffins, rice noodles, tea, chicken, pie, cookies, beef, shrimp... The list goes on. I've even added ginger and garlic vitamins to my health regimen.
My husband will nibble on a piece of ginger to clear him up after a cold or allergies.
